Screen Interview
If your application is successful you shall be invited to a prescreening stage as part of the hiring journey. A phone screening call is an initial, short interview conducted over the phone by a member of the team and a job applicant. This occurs early in the hiring process, after a candidate’s application has been reviewed and before in-depth interviews are scheduled.
Purpose of a Phone Screening Call:
- Confirm interest in the role and availability
- Clarify key qualifications (skills, experience, certifications)
- Assess communication skills and professionalism
- Discuss logistics, such as:
- Availability to start
- Right to Work Checks
- Salary expectations
- Hours available to work
- Stage 3
Final Interview
After a Teams Interview, the manager evaluates the conversation to determine whether the candidate should move forward in the hiring process.
Here's what typically happens next:

1. Review
The recruitment team reviews notes taken during the call which assess:
- Relevance of experience
- Communication skills
- Cultural and role fit
- Salary expectations and availability
2. Consultation with Hiring Manager
A decision is made to:
- Advance candidate to the next stage
- Keep candidate on hold for future consideration
- Politely reject candidate
3. Candidate Notification
If moving forward the recruitment team will contact the candidate to schedule the next interview in person.
If we decide to not move the applicant to the next stages they will receive a rejection email or call with feedback.

- Stage 4
Offer Stage
The offer stage is the phase in the recruitment process where the recruitment team formally extend a job offer to the selected candidate. This stage occurs after all interviews, evaluations and hiring team have made a final decision.
- The hiring team confirms the candidate selection and offer details (salary, benefits, start date)
- The recruitment team will email a written offer to the candidate
The offer is conditional on:
- Background checks (DBS/Overseas Police Check)
- References
- Work eligibility in the UK
- Stage 5
Background Checks
Background checks are an extremely important part of the hiring process to verify:
- A Candidate's Identity
- Employment History/References
- Work Eligibility
- DBS
All offers are subject to these conditions. Offers will be withdrawn if any of the conditions are not satisfied.
